It all started before 2003
Our company founders are pioneers in the industry. Long before they launched Evergy in 2003, they were already providing technical and economic consulting for renewable energies.
Evergy is at home in Munich. Our locations in Spain and Italy were established in 2008 and 2010, followed by locations in India in 2016.
Our team is growing continuously. We are proud of our employees and the many nationalities we represent. Being open to different cultures and religions goes without saying for us. Being international and intercultural allows us to forge ahead, both in our day-to-day work and with our projects.
In 2019, we successfully completed certification for an integrated management system. It covers the areas of quality (DIN EN ISO 9001:2015), occupational safety (DIN ISO 45001:2018) and environment (DIN EN ISO 14001:2015).

Wind
Some of our employees have been dealing with wind turbines since the early 90s. The technology has improved steadily to this day and the systems are advancing into ever higher performance classes. Evergy lives and breathes this gigantic future market and is always at the forefront.
Photovoltaics
Thanks to the Renewable Energy Act, the early 2000s saw the construction of the first large-scale ground-mounted PV systems in Germany - the starting point for the commercial use of PV technology. We were there from the beginning. Since then, we have been following the rapid development of photovoltaics with excitement: from successful subsidy programs in many countries, market slumps, PV systems on water (Floating PV) and on cultivated fields (Agrivoltaics) to today's power plant-sized solar parks that are no longer dependent on subsidized feed-in-tariffs.
Water
Hydropower plants have a much longer history than PV plants and wind turbines. Today, they contribute to the bulk of electricity generation in many countries around the world and are becoming even more important due to the increasing demand for grid balancing and storage capacities.
