Technical Due Diligence for a 300 MWp PV Power Plant

The objectives of the assignment were:

  • to determine and quantify the technical risks and to develop measures for limitation and mitigation of those risks and
  • to collect and analyze the information necessary to assess the technical performance of the project and to sustain over its economic life certain performance levels

The scope of work covered the following aspects:

  • Evaluation of expected annual energy yield
  • Review of licenses and permits required for the construction and operation of the project
  • Technical design review
  • Review of grid connection
  • Review of electric grid requirements and check of the compliance of the power plant
  • Support in negotiation of project contracts
  • Inspection of power plant
