Hydropower Plants
Tikraft

Evergy was commissioned to perform a Confirmatory Technical Due Diligence of five operational hydroelectric power plant schemes across Norway.

The run-of-river plants are geographically distributed between Oslo in the south and Tromsø in the north. Commissioned between November 2011 and December 2015, the plants range in nominal capacity from 1.3 MW to 5.5 MW each. All installations are connected at the medium-voltage level to the respective local distribution networks.

The services of Evergy comprised in particular:

  • Verification of the specific catchment area and hydrological flow assessments
  • Energy yield assessment based on operational data
  • Identification of technical issues affecting operational performance
  • Structural integrity verification of the power plant infrastructure
  • On-site inspection and evaluation of current technical condition
  • Preparation of a refurbishment strategy with estimated cost implications

Floating-Photovoltaik finde ich cool. Alte Baggerseen werden nutzbar für eine CO2-neutrale Energieversorgung.
I think floating photovoltaics is cool. Old quarry ponds can be used for a CO2-neutral energy supply.
